Medan Trip

It was a long weekend here in Indonesia.
With that opportunity, we went to Medan as a family.

We woke up early in the morning at 03.30 am, to catch the 7 o'clock flight.
Timmy had his own bag, to pack his things.
He had an assignment from his English teacher to write a story on his Medan trip. :)

The boy was sitting in the plane,  while reading the Safety Instruction.
He chose the window seat.

And look, we can spot the air planes were queuing for take-off. :)

While we were on-board, I was reading the newspaper
and suddenly Timmy said to me: "Hey Mom, I know how I can make profit!  I buy at the low price and sell at the high price!" Then he made a big smile on his face.
Not long after, he said: "Ah....Mom, that's the price where the bank buy and the bank sell is it?   Ah...then I cannot make profit.   Gees...the bank is smart." Hahahahahaa...

(I remember learning about the rule with Sisilia at Uni:  "Buy Low, Sell High." )
This boy blurted it out when he is in Primary 3.  Hahahaha.

Father and son, upon reaching Kualanamu International Airport, Medan.
It was a bright sunny day...

The newly build airport is stylish and clean.

Us, early in the morning at Medan.

The boy's pose when I wanted to take a photo. :)

It was a coincidence that we arrived on the same day as the inauguration of the airport by the Indonesian President Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.    Luckily our plane arrived earlier.
We were scheduled to arrive on 09.20.  The inauguration started at 10.00.

Here's the snapshots of the Kualanamu International Airport, Medan.
The boarding gates are much nicer than Soekarno Hatta, Jakarta. :)

And here's our mode of transportation during the trip. Hehehehe.
HORAS!
