1 BHP

One weekend, we saw a horse-wagon on the road at night.

As I saw it, I told him: "Tim, look delman."
Timmy: "Yeah, Mom. It's 1 BHP.
Me: "One BHP?"
Tim: "Yes, 1 BHP. Because there is only 1 horse pulling it. Look Mom! Only 1 horse right? So 1 BHP."
Me: "Hm... interesting."
Tim: "BHP is Brake Horse Power, Mom."

Apparently, Timmy got the knowledge from his grandpa.

Celebrating my 34th Birthday

Today is my 34th birthday.
Time flies and without realising it, I'm 34 years old..... :)

I'm celebrating my birthday with Timmy.
Just the two of us...
because Benny is away on business trip to Singapore.
and my maid has just gone home yesterday...
to top it up, one of the teachers is not feeling well.

There are lots of things happening at the same time...
Birthday, with no hubby, no maid, and one of the teachers is sick...
So, busy....busy....busy....

Timmy and I had a dinner date at Pizza Hut.
We had fun with our simple meal.

I got a sms from Sisil, that really brightened my day.
Thank you for the sms and the gift Sil.

Few days later Benny came back and we celebrated my simple birthday at home.

Bak Kut Teh

On the way for dinner, we were planning to eat Bak Kut Teh.
Timmy loves Bak Kut Teh and he offered mbak, who is moslem:
"Mbak, do you want to eat Bak Kut Teh, it's yummy."
When I heard it, I said: "Tim, she is moslem. Moslem can't eat pork, and bak kut is pork."
Timmy: "Oh, ok. Then I will give you the "Teh." Want it? It's yummy."

And Timmy funnily thought that since it is only the "Teh" then it's okay for her to consume it.

My dad and mom laughed....

Timmy...Timmy....

Lantern Lantern Up in the Air

Our neighbour was playing with the lantern.
It was our first time seeing the real lantern going high up in the air.
Lantern, lantern, up in the air......

It was fun!

Getting Ready for Bath Time :)

The photos were taken when Timmy was getting ready for bath time.
I like his smiles on the photos....

Time will fly and before I know it, he will be a grown up man.
I like to keep this photo, as a sweet memory. :)

Days when I still take-care of him, teaching him, handling with day-to-day ups and downs as a mother.

We will always love you Tim!

Getting Ready

Timmy helped out in preparing Morning Chinese.

Here are the clips of our photos during the preparation.

Thank you Tim for your help.

Love,
Mom

Home Made Bowling

I love playing with Timmy and one afternoon we played home-made bowling.
We gathered all the yakult bottles and the yoghurt cups, and turned it into bowling pins.

Timmy took his cars and ball and rolled it towards the bottles.
His cars would then raced to reach the bottles.

A simple and fun way to play and recycle at the same time. Hehehe...
