Making Rainbow

We started by talking about the bible story, where God made rainbow after the rain, 

in Noah's ark story. 

We also listened to the rainbow song, in Chinese. 

Then we continued by making rainbow. 

Andrew loves coloring.

Calm down Zebra

Title: Calm Down Zebra.

We created an art inspired by the book cover. 

What we used: 

1. Reuse carton packaging from a sausage roll. 

2. Paint. 

3. Sticky tape. (We reuse the sticky tape from a  packaging)

What to do:

1. Draw letter Z. 

2. Cover parts with sticky tape. 

3. Have the child to paint black. 

4. Peel off the sticky tape. 

5. Stick googly eyes. 

6. Draw the zebra's hair. 

7. Tadaaa!

Crocodile

Making Croccodile 🐊

Using toilet paper roll. 

We wanted to learn the nursery rhyme Row row row your Boat. ⛵

Mama was inspired to make the crocodile using toilet paper roll. 

So what we did was:

1. Paint the toilet paper roll green. 

(We went to Poundland and I found blue and green water paint and some goggly eyes. ) Yay!

2. Mama drew some shapes for the body, tail and mouth. 

3. Andrew painted it green. 

4. We decorated it with some marker. (I found some permanent color marker at Poundland).

5. We cut it 

6. Stick the goggly eyes. 

7. Stick the body parts to the painted toilet paper. 

8. Tadaaaa! We have a crocodile.

We were playing Bloxera and joined a competition. 

Timmy build this Simpson using bloxera. 

Papa joined the built too.

Rabbit. 2019

We were reading the book from the Shimajiro friends, 

there is a rabbit. 

And when we went for the morning walk, 

Andrew liked to visit the Aquamarine Utara no. 20,

 because there is rabbit there. 

We then also brought out the rabbit soft toys, Andrew then can feel the rabbit fur is soft

and compare real life rabbit to those in the book and soft toys.

We were learning numbers, making number rod with the bloxera bricks, learned the chinese words for numbers and learning through play.

Sensory Play . Sept 2020

This was when we were in Indonesia.

WE made the sensory bin and filled it with animals. 

Then we read the words and pretend play. 

Helping Ma with Laundry. 2020.

I always love it when the children were helping me with chores. 

Andrew loves to help me with the laundry washing since he was very young. 

As young as 2 years old. 

In this photo, maybe Andrew was around 3 years old. 

He can helped me to put in the dirty clothes into the washing machine, 

pick up those dry clothes into the basket. 

Mama always lift and hugged Andrew through the first step, because it was steep. 

He would then go down the stairs by himself. 

I love you Andrew.

Rock climbing

We went to the Scientia Square Park in Gading Serpong. 

We tried Rock climbing. :)

We were at the supermarket, after school. 😄He said " Why don't we make Fettucini carbonara, Mom?" 

So, yup, here's our after school activity. Cooking together. 😄😀😁😊
He helped to grate the cheese, cut the Smoked Chicken, stir the sauce.

And finally eat the yummy cheesy Fettucini Carbonara.
