Annoyed

I'm very annoyed now.

This morning Timmy was playing with the jelly, crumpled it with his hands, creating a mess in the fridge. Hmph! Grrrr...Geezzz..

Asked him to eat breakfast, he said he wanted the cake that we got from Timmy's friends mom. Cut it for him and he said that he wanted to crack the egg. Argh!

Grasshopper

Our backyard garden had grasshopper attack.
The mother laid eggs on our garden, and as a result we found so many little kinder grasshopper.

It's my first time in my life to see the little grasshopper.
Cute! But yet with so many of them, my growing leaves had holes in it.

Benny came to a rescue od catching the grasshopper with his hands.
Cool! Guess what! We caught nearly 30 little grasshopper with its Mommy.

Put them in the water bottle and let Timmy brought it to school to share it with his friends...hehehehe...

The next day, we release them into the wild. :)

PhotoScape

Thanks to Siska who has given me the reference to PhotoScape.
Now I'm addicted to it!

With PhotoScape we can have lots and lots of fun with our photo, putting several photos into 1 page. Cool!

It all started with my wonder how to put lots of photo into 1 page, in order to be able to load them all into this blog. As blogspot only allows to upload of 5 photos.

PhotoScape is the solution! Yippee!

Conversation with Timmy

We visited Benny's distant cousin who just gave birth to a baby boy.
I told him that he was that small too when he came out of my tummy.

Last night, Timmy asked me: "Mom, how did I come out from your tummy?"

I ended up explaining to him the process of my labor.
In the morning, as I took the morning walk, I felt the pain and I told Benny about it. Benny even asked me have I went to the toilet? hahaha... I told him that the pain is different. Took a few deep breath and the pain disappear.

Timmy was laughing as I explained and showed him how I took the deep breath in and deep breath out. hahahaha...

He was excited when I told him that we were excited as we saw his hair and head came out, as I pushed.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

Pahoa TK A kids had an excursion to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah on Wednesday, 12th May 2010. The mothers were busy preparing things to bring, while the kids were excited.

It was Timmy's first experience to be away to a place that's quite far with friends and teachers. They had a trip to Times bookstore Karawaci before, but that's close distance away. This time it's to TMII and the mothers were worried and thrilled.

As the bus left, Timmy said: "Mama, I miss you!" :)

Apparently, it all turned out fine.
I got some pictures from his teacher. Timmy's first experience watching 4D theatre.
The glasses was so big and his teacher told me that it was so funny coz he was trying to catch the fish which appeared right before his eyes.

On the way back, all the kids were tired and most of them sleep in the bus.
I guess they were all tired from all those exercise. Outdoor game, 4D movie, museum, train ride...

A Letter for Angeline

Timmy wrote a letter for Angeline's B'day.

Jadi Aku Libur Dong...

I was reading the announcement from Timmy's school and let him read it too.
It says "Hari Jumat 14 Mei 2010, guru-guru TK A akan mendampingi anak TK B untuk karyawisata. Anak-anak TK A belajar di rumah."

Timmy's comment: "Hm...belajar di rumah? Jadi aku libur dong..."
Hahahaha...

Timmy: "So, this week I went to school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday is holiday. 3 days school and 4 days holiday. So, more holiday days than the school days."

Our Junior Engineer

At this age, Timmy has shown his interest in engineering things.

Even before he could walk, he was so persistent in learning the things that turn. I could still remember that he would learn so deligently to turn the gears at around 7 months old.

When we were still living at Kayu Putih, he would sit on Benny's lap and help him to release the nuts and bolts as Benny repairs the laptop. He could even helped us to insert the pin into the PCB.

As we moved to our new house, Timmy helped Benny to install the furniture and set it up. Tables...Wardrobe... :)

Right outside the circus, they put the "City Mover 4000" high intensity lamp.
Other kids were running around playing, while Timmy was paying attention to it so closely, as it turned around.

At the train playground, Timmy was paying attention to the electricity panel which controls the start stop of the train. Benny explained to him about the Voltage and Ampere.

Timmy has a collection of batteries and he can insert the batteries correctly, negative and positive sides. One day he explained to me about the size of the battery, AA, AAA, C, D, squares, big round and small round. And he categorize them in the box that he got from Rachel's birthday, according to the brand and size.

One day, he put them into a torch and observed the light that illuminate. Timmy would then said a number to represent the level of brightness. Then he changed the battery with another and observed again, and so on and so forth. He came up to a conclusion that Energizer battery is the best and the strongest.
hahahaha..

During the past few days, Benny has been teaching him about the size of the wheel.
They have been measuring the wheel of city car, SUV, pick up truck, dump truck, etc.
hehehe..

When we were on a shuttle bus after school, Timmy told Benny "Dad the gear of this bus, is it on Neutral position?" Dad: "Yes Tim, it's on neutral."
Timmy: "But why if it is on neutral, the gear is a bit to the right side? If it is neutral, it should be right at the center."
Benny: Observing then said you are right Tim. But because the base of the gear leather is broken, that's why it seems that it is a bit to the right.
Timmy: "The position of the gear is also different with the normal car. With the normal car, 1 3 5 is at the top. 2 4 R is at the bottom. But with the bus, it is reversed." Gees...he pays attention to these things. hehehehe.

Moscow Circus

On Tuesday, we finally had the chance to watch Moscow Circus.
They claimed that it is the first in Asia.

Getting the ticket was a real effort.
We tried to buy it on Monday and the ticket box was closed.
Tuesday morning, Benny gotta woke up at 5.00 am to queue for the number to buy the ticket. We got number 109 out of 128.

Later in the morning, we gotta returned at 9.30 am to buy and pay for the ticket.
At the ticket booth, people who didn't get the number were trying to buy it from the person who got the number and had extra allowance to buy the ticket. (Each person is allowed to buy 3 tickets maximum and with buy 1 get 1 free program from BCA that makes 6 tickets).

There was one man who came all the way from Cinere at 5 in the morning and got the last number 128. He needed to buy tickets for 8 people. Hence 2 seat less, so he was trying to buy it from other people.

Another lady, she didn't get any number at all, and she needed to buy seats for 12 people. Didn't know how she finally managed.

Benny told me that there was a man who was trying to ask another man to buy tickets for him. But the man on the line said that the money in his BCA account is just enough to buy this ticket. The man said, Ok let's use my BCA account first. We didn't know the rest of the transaction.

The circus was a success.....
We thought that the circus better be good, because we have made such an effort to get the tickets. And it turns out that the circus was good. It's worth the effort.

Timmy's first experience to watch the circus.
We bought Cotton Candy and Timmy got to see how it was made. :)
He loved it. In fact, Benny & I still like it too! hahahaha.

After the circus, Timmy got to ride a car with the real gas pedal, gear and steering wheel! He was nervous at first, but loved it in the end and didn't wanna get off.
hahahaha...

A Happy Customer

Mid April 2010 when we picked Benny up at the airport...

Timmy ran into this store, took out two Mentos candy packs on his hand, one purple and the other mint. I told him to ask the waiter, how much is the price?
Timmy: "Berapa harganya Pak?"
He answered it is Rp. 5,000 each.

Me: "It is expensive Tim. With Rp. 5,000 each, if you plan to buy two, you'll have to pay Rp. 10,000. At the supermarket, it's normally Rp. 2,300 each. Please put it back, we don't buy it this time."

Timmy was very good, and he put it back.

As we walked, we found AlfaMart.
This time, he searched for Mentos again and this time, he checked the price.
Timmy: "Mom, it's Rp. 3,000! This is cheaper than the previous store. Can I buy it Mom?" With a big pleading face... :)
Me: "Okay Tim."

And here comes the happy customer...

Finally! Playdoh!

Finally Timmy got his 'wished for' playdoh!

As my promised, if he cooperate during the process of treatment H2O2 and at the ear nose and throat specialist & if his ear wax is out, we'll buy the playdoh.

He was so excited when he got to buy it.
Pulling his dad's hand towards the pharmacy and choose it.
After he got it, he ran to me who was waiting at the cashier, showing it proudly.
"Mama, look!" with a big smile on his face. :))

Even as we walked towards the parking lot, he hold in on his arm, like it's so precious. :)

Sticker sticker sticker

The other day, I broght Timmy to Siloam Hospital.

The nurse let him choose stickers to have his name printed on it.
And guess what....tralala...he put them all on his drink bottle while I was driving home.

Here's the picture...

Boy boy...it's all gone in less than an hour.
I guess the bottle is not gonna be missing now...hehehe..

Our Flower Garden in Progress

We have been having fun creating our flower garden, Tari, me and Timmy.
The three of us have been digging soil, taking out big & small rocks, planting flowers...

And here's our flower garden in progress.

Timmy loves to help us.
One day, when I was planting the flower, he had fun making holes for the ants.
According to him, he was making the 'ants' house'. hahahaha...
Timmy said: "Look Mama, it's deep. I made deep holes. See Mama, see it! Look the ant is coming, it's coming!"

After he was bored, he would came to me and tried to borrow my scoop.
Timmy: "Mom, can I borrow your scoop and you use my chopstick instead.Yours can take more soil than mine."

While we were digging, we found big rocks underneath the soil.
Timmy was helping and he said :"Look Mommy, I'm going in the hole! I can see the big rocks there, let's take it out! Urrghhh! It's hard. Maybe Mbak Tari can help."

On some days, he would take out the scissors and gave the leaves some 'hair cut'.
Timmy: "I'm cutting the leaves. The hair is long already. So I cut it."
Cut cut cut...and it's shorter than the others.

When my mother in law came, she was wondering why this one is shorter than the others? I told her, coz Timmy gave it a 'hair cut'. She said: No wonder...hahaha.

After we were tired, Timmy went into the house and prepared 2 glasses of water for me and Tari, put it on the floor mat right at the garden terrace.
Timmy: "Mom, Mbak, I have prepared water for you! Look! Come, let's drink it.
He even took out a packet of Ritz Cheese Biscuit for us. hahahaha...
a small picnic.
