Our activity today. 

1 Kor 13: 4-7

Kasih itu sabar, kasih itu murah hati, ia tidak cemburu, ia tidak memegahkan diri dan tidak sombong. 

Ia tidak melakukan nyang tidak sopan dan tidak mencari keuntungan sendiri. 

Ia tidak pemarah dan tidak menyimpan kesalahan orang lain. 

Ia tidak bersuka cita karena ketidakadilan, tetapi karena kebenaran. 

Ia menutupi segala sesuatu, percaya segala sesuatu, mengharapkan segala sesuatu, sabar menanggung segala sesuatu. 

Helping Ma with Laundry. 2020.

I always love it when the children were helping me with chores. 

Andrew loves to help me with the laundry washing since he was very young. 

As young as 2 years old. 

In this photo, maybe Andrew was around 3 years old. 

He can helped me to put in the dirty clothes into the washing machine, 

pick up those dry clothes into the basket. 

Mama always lift and hugged Andrew through the first step, because it was steep. 

He would then go down the stairs by himself. 

I love you Andrew. 

Thank you for helping Mama with daily chores.

Parts and Parcel of Motherhood.

Taking care of this boy since baby 

sure takes a lot of effort. 

Looking back at those days...

and realised how time flies. 

Parenting is not easy...

There is no school that I can go to learn and obtain all the skills. 

It's like jumping into the water and start swimming...

Well, he is 9 going to be 10 this year. 

And few days back, he said: "I would love to live on my own, so I don't have to listen to you Mom."

I said: "Okay, if that's what you want. I'm not gonna hold you back. But before that, it means that I need to teach you some life skills."

So..last Saturday, he wanted Indomie for breakfast.

Tim: "Mom can you make me Indomie please?"

Me: "Why don't you make it yourself. I will teach you how." 

Tim: Oh.....

Me: Well, you said you wanna live on your own...

Tim: Okay ...okay...

So, here's the photo of him making his indomie. 

With spills here and there...

With "help Mom.... here and there." 

Hahahahaha....

Another part of his milestone that I like to see blossoming is his social ability.

Glad that he has this smiley face when I picked him up.

It was tough getting him to join this activity.
Things like "Mom, this is weekend. I have worked so hard from Monday to Friday to enjoy the weekend. and this program is from 10-3, so long, 5 hours. It's taking up my time. "

Well, I was so happy that when I picked him up, he had his smiley face on, running around here and there with the other kids. Thank God. :)

And after his homework was done, he requested for pizza. 

He wanted to order one, to be delivered. 

But I told him that we could make one instead. 

Not one, but three. 

Since there were 3 pizza bases. 

..and we put generous extra toppings. hehehehe..

Last Sunday, I taught him how to iron his uniform. :)

Having no maid in the house, that means he needs to participate in the housework. 

Well...he was scared when he used the iron. 

...and his ironing needs improvement. 

But I am glad....

at least that's a start. 

Now the challenge is for me to be consistent. 

Well....that' part of my motherhood and parenting days.

Oh, look what I found when I was browsing at Borders. 

Air Terjun Curug Cimahi, Bandung.

30th June 2015.

We passed by Curug Cimahi Water Fall. 

Timmy was excited to find out.

So, off we go! 

This is the view of the water fall from the entrance door. 

We had to go down the steps..

587 steps down....

587 steps up...

They call it The Rainbow Waterfall.

They provided few stops for us to rest, fully equipped with chairs too. 

So, it was good.

We were blessed with other visitors who gave us their sticks. 

It was helpful. Yay! Thank you. 

I love Timmy's climbing spirit when we were there.
He was very excited and sporty with "Come-On and get-going" attitude.

He was playing with the water and washing his face with fresh water from the pipe.
Cold water. hehehehe.

Bandung Tree Top

While we were at Cikole, we were curious, there were lots of cars coming.
Where are they going?
So, we found out, that they were heading to "Bandung Tree Top".
We decided to check it out. :)

It was amazing. There were lots of flying foxes, webs, etc for people to climb.
Feel like a tarzan, swinging from tree to tree, hang like a spider on the web.

We spotted those 3 brave teenagers on their mark to glide.
Timmy was watching them from the ground.

 After that swing, they had to hang on to the web on the left, 

then glide among the swaying wood...

Then to this zig zag wood, high on above the ground.

There are lots of circuit available, from easy to difficult.
The one that the 3 kids tried was Red Circuit, 2nd rank of difficulty. Wow!

There were lots of little kids and families around. 

They were playing the easier circuit. 

I was very tempted to try...

from the easiest circuit of course. hahahaha...

But, I didn't bring the shoes...

Thinking that I must watch my steps and consider not to let my sandals fall off,

would be too risky and mind bogging. 

So, we decided to just sit around and watch them. 

hehehehe..

which was entertaining as well.
