Breakfast

It was Sunday and I had time to experiment with making breakfast.
I bought these cute stamps long ago in Daiso (around the period when I was attending Sisil's wedding)
and haven't been using it.
So, I thought, since it's Sunday, why not give it a try?

Here they are:

I like the car shape on the boiled egg.

Nano-Nano

When I was little, there was this unique candy that tasted: sweet, salty and sour. I could still remember the ad: "Nano, Nano, manis- asam-asin, rame rasanya." And we found the candy at the supermarket. So, I was introducing it to Timmy. Hehehe..

World's Magician

As we lay down on the bed, before we slept,
Timmy said: "Mom, God must be very busy."
Me: "Why?"
Tim: "Because maybe at the moment, there are 750 people praying at the same time in the whole world. God must be very busy right?   He's the World's Magician."

Hahahaha.

Colorful Umbrella

These beautiful colorful umbrellas ~ at Australia on Collins.

Beautiful aren't they?
Like colorful rainbow of my life.
Our life brings lots of colors, it's up to us how to enjoy it. :)

Have a great day!

Learning to make "Batik"

Here's what I made that day. :)

Rice Cooker

I have used this rice cooker for 10 years.
It was our wedding gift and has been using it ever since till now.

Well, the inside of the rice cooker is full of scratches and the handle bar is broken,
but I was reluctant to change it, because it still cooks rice fine.

Finally, after hesitating, we decided to change it.
This blogpost is for my own keepsakes. Hehehe...

This is the rice cooker that we bought.
Hope it will last as long as the old one, or even longer. Hehehe...

1 Year Holiday

As Timmy woke up in the morning for school, he said:
Tim: "Mom....I'm still sleepy. I think I need a 1 year holiday."

Hey... who wouldn't? Don't we all need a 1 year holiday?

Susun Buku

Tim: "Mom...I'm bored of having to arrange my book for school (susun buku) everyday, putting it into the school bag. It's the same schedule every week. When you were my age, did you ever get bored?"

Me: "Well, sometimes I did get bored... Tim, you have to eat 3 times a day, do you get bored of eating?"

Tim: "No, Mom. I need to eat in order to live. Eating is not boring."

Hahahaha...

Italy - Bagnoregio

On Indonesia's Independence Day, we visited Bagnoregio.
Civita di Bagnoregio is a town in the Province of Viterbo in Central of Italy, it is about 145 kilometres north of Rome.  We rented a car and drove there.

On the way there, we saw these trees that looks like huge broccoli.
We called it "broccoli tree". Hahahaha..

The view on the way

And we saw this red three wheel car on the way.
It was driving so slowly in front of us.
Timmy called it "Teeettt..."
We were laughing out loud because of its funny name:  Teeeetttt... Hahahaha.

Finally we arrived Civita di Bagnoregio.
It is the birth place of Saint Bonaventura, which happens to be Saint name of the church where Benny and I got married: Paroki Santo Bonaventura.  When I was a student, we used to walk to this church from our school.

It was happy that I could visit this place with my family.
And I thank my hubby who brought us there.
Civita di Bagnoregio has a stunning view from a far.
It has a striking position on top of a plateau of a volcanic tuff overlooking the Tiver river valley.

The city itself has a unique architecture, which remains in its unaltered condition.
A charming medieval city.
The population today varies from about 12 people in winter to over 100 people in summer.
In 2006, the town was placed on the World Monuments Fund's and Watch List of the 100 Most Endangered Sites, due to the threats of erosion.

That day we packed our lunch of: rice with smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and salad.
We parked our car and walked.

We had to walked quite a distance that day. :)

And guess what we saw?   A donkey! Hahaha.

Yay! We are nearly there!

At the beginning of the bridge.

Father and son on the bridge.

Smiling Timmy on a hot day.

Photo of us on the bridge with the Civita di Bagnoregio on the background.

The view beside the bridge.

Finally we reached the City Gate.

A stunning medieval city

Timmy looking at the magnets.

We found another tractor looking vehicle, which reminded us to "Teeetttt".  Hahaha.

This is the church of Saint Bonaventura in Bagnoregio.
In front of it there's piazza and we had our lunch there. :)

Outside the church

Walked along the city

Stunning view

The bridge that we crossed, view from the top of the city.

In the city, among the cafe.

Magnets for sale.

We had a nice tiramisu lemon in this cafe, within the Bagnoregio.

Timmy wanted to pose alone, with Bagnoregio as the background.  Look how straight he stand. Hahaha.

...and we saw this big motor..  Wow!

Father and son walking hand in hand. :)

Looking at the map together.

Choosing the fridge magnet. Hehehe..

Bye Bagnoregio! We had fun there.
