Singapore - August 2013

On the way to Italy, we stopped by Singapore, as Benny had to do something for his work.
We had some spare time, so we shopped around Changi airport.
Fun!

The happiest one, should be this boy, who got his Lego set. :)

As I was waiting for them, I took the photo of the shop, where they bought the Lego,
while trying out various setting of  my camera. :)
That's Benny and Timmy, at the far end of the shop. Hehehe.

Me, with the M&Ms. Hehehe...

Us...

From the airport, we took this taxi, that looks like an old car. Hehehe...
But it could still run 100 km/hour on they way! :)
A- must- take- photo with this taxi, for keepsakes. Hehehe.

These photos were taken along the way... while we were in the taxi... :)
Singapore Eye, and Marina Bay Sands.
I like the photo on the top right, where the Marina Bay Sands seems to be in the Singapore Eye. :)

Quite a clear photo, considering  it was being taken from a moving taxi. :)  I was surprised.

Timmy had a chance to meet his cousin, Cynthia, who came from UK.
We took the bus, and went to Bugis together.
There's our favourite pork chop on rice that we love.
A must eat. Hahahaha...

After lunch, as we walked along the road, the kids saw lots of pigeons.
At first, they were looking at it.
When they realized that I was taking photo, they started making pose for the photos. Hehe..
Well, sweet memories keep sakes, after they grow up. :)

Then...further along the road....ice creams!
We sure did a lot that day! Hahaha.

Then, Timmy and Cynthia watched the water fountain.
Some kids were playing water there, as they ran across the water.
The water fountain changed shape every now and then.

I like this photo, of the kids posing, with colourful building as a background. :)

..and we saw this Central Fire Station on the way...

As we were waiting for the bus, I was glad to see this beautiful scenery:
- A nice clear blue sky
- A sharp and pointy cathedral between the trees.
- A round cylinder building.
A nice day.... what a blessing. :)

...and we saw this "FunVee" open top bus. Hahaha...

It was Singapore's Independence Day.
We saw some of the apartments hanging Singapore's flag on the wall.

That summarizes our day in Singapore. :)
