In the Olden Days

We were lucky to find these set up in one of the events in the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
After breakfast, we walked to the 2nd floor and found these old phone, old TV, old Vespa, old music player. Interesting.

The interesting one is the phone. I taught Timmy that in the olden days, when we wanted to make a phone call, we dialled this way by turning the holes one number at a time. :) So, he tried dialling our home phone number. Hahahaha.

Oh yeah, that's the music? Hahaha..

Pretend old hawker center

Look at that becak, Vespa and sepeda onthel.
My Dad and Benny's Dad used to ride those Vespa.

Funny Comment

Yesterday I read this on Facebook, I laughed after I read it and I read it aloud to Timmy. "Tim, listen to these:"

After reading it, he made a funny comment, saying: "Untung saya laki laki, jadi tidak perlu menjadi Ibu Rumah Tangga.  Iya ngga Pa?" and then approached his Dad and asked to high-five with him.  "Lucky that I'm a boy."  Hahahahaha....

Aiya ya......

Majestic Hotel & KTM Berhad, Kuala Lumpur Station, Malaysia

While Benny went to work, we went around the hotel neighbourhood.
This hotel is separated into the New Wing and the Colonial Wing.
Just next to the hotel is the nice building of KTM Berhad and Kuala Lumpur Station.  We took some photos there. Sharing it with you.
Oh, Timmy's funny comment when we took the photo: "Ma, senyuman mekanis." He meant by fake smiles. Something that he learnt from NatGeo about real smiles and fake smiles.
So we were giggling while we took these photos. Especially Timmy's ones. Hehe.

My Cooking

Just a random post of my cooking at home. I haven't been cooking here, and flipping through the gallery and saw these.
Nasi goreng telor pake sosis dan keju for Timmy's breakfast. Cooked it in the morning for him.
Just before we went to Malaysia, I was emptying the fridge and made this stir fry. Hehehe...
And the garlic bread. Inspired by the internet recipe, gave it a try and the family loved it. Shared some with Mom and Dad too. Fresh from the oven.
Timmy requested for Soto Betawi. So, I made it into my version  with added carrot for extra vitamin A. Hehehe. Cooked some soup at home, for his packed school lunch and our dinner.
We had a fun cooking session together, making macaroni carbonara using the sausage from Holland from ie Jossie. Yay! Timmy helped in the preparation.

Cooking hearty soup today.
Ingredients:
Lotus Root, Whole Chicken, Carrot, Tomato, Ginger, Garlic, Peanuts, Red Beans, Goji Berry.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Exams were over. It was Friday. Timmy said, as soon as we submited the exam paper  and the bell rang, we shouted: "Freedom!" Hahahaha...

Benny has been away on business trip a lot this year. So, it was practically just Timmy and I were at home most of the time. Well, it's not easy being a stay-at-home-Mom, doing everything on my own. But I guess it has shaped me up. God has many ways to make us into a better person. :) Strengthen me in some ways.

So, since  exams are over, we jumped on the opportunity to join Benny on his business trip. Timmy took some leave of absence from school. Hehehe...*wink* Most of the school activities will be the non academic and giving back the exams paper. And for the school report card, we will take it next semester, oh no, next year, hahaha...since we pass the end of the year.

Timmy said: "Yay! Everyday is Saturday and Sunday now". Hahahaha....

Here's the photo of us in the train from Kuala lumpur airport to Kuala Lumpur station. Hey, the train is pretty good. It even has free wifi in it. And oh, the boy's expression of freedom and skipping school. Hahahaha...

We spotted this cool Snoopy at the airport. Took some pictures with it.
