Home Made Bowling

I love playing with Timmy and one afternoon we played home-made bowling.
We gathered all the yakult bottles and the yoghurt cups, and turned it into bowling pins.

Timmy took his cars and ball and rolled it towards the bottles.
His cars would then raced to reach the bottles.

A simple and fun way to play and recycle at the same time. Hehehe...

I miss blogging

I haven't been blogging for a very long time.
I kinda miss it, but with my busy daily routine, I would rather sleep when I have time. Hehehe..

Mother and Son

Playing Pretend

We were being silly and pretended to be animals.
I called it, he be it. And we took turns.

We pretended to be elephant with the long trunks...
Pretended to be snake with the forked tongue...

Ah...we were being silly that day. Hahahaha...

Turtle

Sometimes, I do treasure my time with Timmy.
We play, we read, we do fun things together...

However, there were times when I feel that I have failed being a good parent.
When Timmy was naughty, talk rudely, whine, etc.

Here's a sneak preview when things went good.
We read the story about turtle life cycle together.
Timmy brought his 'little chicken' to read the story too. hehehehe...

I printed out "Roll a Turtle", we played it with the dice, and Timmy colored it.

Then we made a paper-plate turtle.
I made a nice green turtle to accompany the brown turtle.
Timmy had fun playing it around with his imagination.

Lastly, Timmy drew turtle on our small white-board. ;)

Bumble Bee

We did this activity 2 months ago, but I haven't had the time to post it.
Not until now...

Well, here's what we did:
1) We read a story about the bee life-cycle.
2) Timmy cut out the part of the bee's body and the behive.
3) Then we glued it to a large piece of paper.
4) Timmy started painting flowers for the bee... :)
5) We played "Make a Bee", while rolling the dice.
