Having an Ice Cream Date with Timmy

It was a hot afternoon....
Timmy and I decided to have an afternoon snack....
Icey drink..... Yay!

So, off we went to Kedai Es Pisang Ijo Pemuda.
It was our first time there, and it turned out that it was yummy!

Timmy said: "Mom, we tried first. If it's yummy, next time we bring Papa here."
Hahahaha... Kind of you Tim.

Here's the photo of Timmy when he was 7 years old.
He ordered Es buah that day, and I ordered Es pisang ijo.

The boy was about to order.

Food is here!

Us...
We had a nice ice cream date.

That afternoon, there was a man who came over our table and sell pastel.
I bought one for him, and Timmy asked: why do you buy from him Mom?
I said: "Well, I pity him. Maybe that's what he does for a living. Maybe the money that he earned from selling this, maybe used to pay for his children's school fees and to buy his daily food.   And it's good that he is still trying to work, not stealing or robbing.     Maybe he couldn't get a good job.   That's why you are very lucky to have a good Papa and Mama, who can provide things for you.   And what we can give you now is education. It will be your asset for your future for you to find a good job. That will be all that we can give you and the rest if up to you Tim.

Then I told him the story that  I read that day.
There was a woman with 3 kids who wants to ride a bus, but don't have money.
But the woman was honest with the bus driver, and a lot of the bus driver who didn't want the woman to ride on.  Then finally came a young bus driver who said, "OK you can ride." And the woman said, but I don't have money to pay you.  The bus driver said: "It's ok.     When the woman and the kids wanted to get off the bus, another passenger paid. When the bus driver wanted to give the change to the passenger, he said:" It's ok. I pay for the woman and the kids too.  Keep doing the kindness."

So, an honest woman, a kind bus driver and a kind passenger.
Let the kindness pass on, and make this world a better place to live.
