Playing Checkers

Do you play games with your little loved ones? 

In our house, we don't really play that often....

This was taken sometime ago in March 2012.

I thought of introducing "Halma" / Checkers to Timmy... 

And he invited his ducks, chics and cars to join in the game... hahahahaha...

Seeing House Building Process

Sometime last March, on the way to visit grandpa and grandma, 

we saw houses being built.  It was an interesting process...

because Timmy learnt it at school: what materials can be used to make roof, walls and grounds, 

and we got to see it live.... 

Another interesting point was we got to see the technique on how they carry / move the tiles from the ground to the roof top, real fast, without having to climb the ladder...  with the Pulley!

See that man on the top? Wow...so dangerous... 

The man on the ground, would load the things, and pulled it....

And see the man on the ground, he pulled it right across the road... and voila! The things are up!

Parenting, Learning from Nature

Something I read today from Komunitas Ayah Edy.

Sehingga kelak ia akan menjadi pohon besar yg tinggi menjulang ke langit dengan akar yang kuat membumi.

Pohon Besar yg senantiasa memberikan kesejukan di tengah teriknya panas matahri dan melindungi di tengah derasnya hujan badai bagi siapapun yg berlindung di bawahnya.

Bayangkanlah ini setiap hari, lakukanlah ini setiap hari.....
Karena ternyata prinsip2 parenting telah lama di ajarkan Tuhan pada kita melalui alam semesta dan seisinya.

Mari kita bangun Indonesia yg kuat dari Keluarga !!!

Oh...oh... I just have to post this.

It was my first time seeing it...hehehehe..

Stacking Little Chairs

We were reading a story about  Persistence... and I thought of making it into something fun...

We incorporated the story into play...
Stacking the little chairs, as high as you can...and this need persistence.

At the beginning, Timmy was not patient. Each time the chairs fell, he would be grumpy, and refused to be photographed. hehehe..

But with encouragement, finally he enjoyed stacking it higher and higher and higher! Yay!

Finally...the all smiles face...      The effort pays off...
We finally managed to stack the chairs higher than Timmy when he was sitting down.

Note to Timmy: 

Don't give up when it all seems difficult. Give it another try...you may succeed...
Believe in yourself, that you can!

Timmy's Words Today...

Timmy is sick, down with the fever, vomiting, coughing...

He told me touching words today "Mama...I know that you are the best in the world.  Without you, there will be nobody who take care of me..."

Oh...that's just so sweet, Tim.
My tiredness from last sleepless night, just pays off....  ^_^
