Days Out
We went to the Southampton city.
Visited the Southampton Library.
The library was huge and it has nice collection of books.
2 levels building and very quiet.
We could borrow Chinese children books there.
On the way back, we stopped by at Lidl supermarket, bought some stuff.
Mom and Andrew went to the nearby charity shop.
We bought the weighing scale and ELC toys for 50p each.
Good bargain. :)
And on the way home, we passed by the beach and found that there was a lot of sailboat.
So, we stopped and parked our car right in front of the beach.
Very lovely view and good parking spot.
We bought some burgers & fries and ate it by the beach, while watching the sailboat,
the seagulls and crows.
Then we went to the nearby beach playground to play.
Andrew played with the sand too.
We parked the car near the Balai Kota.
Earlier in the morning, we went to Yau Asian Grocery store and bought food. :)
Then we headed off the the city, it was crowded for the Southampton football match.
Mom stayed at British Heart Foundation and ended up buying some second hand baking books. :)
Father and sons went to the Lego store. Hehehe..
We took a photo in front of the Southampton City Library.
Found a nice water fountain in front of the library.
Pose a picture of the family.
September 2021. For our record. :)
Tim's First Day of School at UK
We arrived UK on 24 June 2021.
We are grateful that we are finally here, thanking God for His guidance over the preparation days.
We are very relived that Tim is finally accepted in the Hamble School.
The waiting days are over.
We have applied since we were overseas.
On 2nd September 2021, we visited the school, and met the reception and the assistant head teacher.
Finally met Mrs. Bone too.
The school said that they need to have a meeting as to which year level is suitable for Tim.
And we will be notified the day after, which was Friday.
Thankfully we were notified that Tim got into year 10.
Thank you God. This would mean that Tim will have more time to adjust and prepare himself
prior to the GCSE exams.
We then know Tim's house and can buy the uniform that is house related.
So on Saturday, 4 September 2021, we went to SkoolKit at Eastleigh to buy the rest of his uniform.
Previously we bought the blazer, shirt and pants.
Then after we know the house, we can buy the tie, jumper, PE shirt.
Wish you success and good luck Tim in your new adventure.
May God be with you, guiding you along the way. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
Prior to school day, Tim has a few round of going to school by bike with Papa.
On the big day of first day of school, Papa accompanied Tim to go to school by bike.
8 September 2021, was Tim's first day of school.

Making Rainbow
We started by talking about the bible story, where God made rainbow after the rain,
in Noah's ark story.
We also listened to the rainbow song, in Chinese.
Then we continued by making rainbow.
Andrew loves coloring.
Photo was taken in Station Road, Netley Abbey.

Calm down Zebra
Title: Calm Down Zebra.
By: Lou Kuenzler, Julia Woolf
We created an art inspired by the book cover.
What we used:
1. Reuse carton packaging from a sausage roll.
2. Paint.
3. Sticky tape. (We reuse the sticky tape from a packaging)
What to do:
1. Draw letter Z.
2. Cover parts with sticky tape.
3. Have the child to paint black.
4. Peel off the sticky tape.
5. Stick googly eyes.
6. Draw the zebra's hair.
7. Tadaaa!
Have fun trying.

Peacock
God is marvelous in creating beautiful creature for us to enjoy.
We saw how a peacock open its feathers into a beautiful colorful fan. 🦚
Today, we had fun painting, drawing and decorating peacock.
We started with the base drawing. Mama drew the outline with a pencil, then we colored in with water painting.
We bought the diamond decoration when we were in Asda.
Mama thought of making this beautiful peacock, as we read the story book, Calm Down Zebra.
Andrew loves art and we had fun creating this beautiful peacock together.
Andrew painted the base color. Mama added the feathery by crayon, and Andrew stick the blue diamond decoration on the peacock's feather.
